  • Run Pidgin

      • Protocol: IRC
      • Add a username
      • Server: rdcc.ml-ext.ucar.edu (currently 128.117.43.121)
      • Get password from project manager
      • Check: Remember password
      • Advanced:
        • Port: 6668
        • Check: Use SSL
        • Add
    • Accept certificate
    • Buddies -> Add Chat
      • Channel: #KingAir
      • Check: Automatically join when account connects
